Novant Thanksgiving Eve Parade

Join your fellow MCC Scouts and carry an oversized American flag along the 9 block parade route in uptown Charlotte.

MCC Scouts are once again participating in the Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade on Wednesday, November 22nd.  We will begin gathering in the staging area around 5 p.m.  The parade steps off at 5:45.  Our staging area is at the intersection of Montfort Point and College Street uptown.  All participants should be in uniform.  No objects are to be thrown into the crowd.  Eating, drinking, pushing strollers, and cell phone usage are not allowed during the parade process.  There are plenty of parking decks on both ends of the parade route.  I would suggest parking on the South end of Tryon St. and walking the 9 blocks to the staging area.  That way, once we reach the disband area, you will be closer to your vehicle.  Thank you for participating in this year’s parade.  It will be a fun experience for everyone involved!
